About Us
We offer an elementary school program that is based on Indigenous Ways of Learning and Being. Currently, we offer Junior-Kindergarten to Grade 7.
The mandate for the school is to guide children's learning in a way that weaves our language and traditions into our daily teachings. This prepares the children with the knowledge of who they are and where they come from; to strengthen understanding and confidence in their individual gifts; to best prepare them to navigate the world around them.
How are we different: We continue to create and foster connections with community members that can share their expert knowledge with learners — weaving, canoe pulling, Indigenous plant knowledge, carving, and more.
